The weather forecast wasn’t particularly good for this evening but the drizzle held off and we had 13 riders ranging in age from 13 to 73.
Fabos Young (Wellingborough Cycles) put in by far the best time of the evening at 21:39, nearing the course record; perhaps he’ll return to break it. Nathan Joyce (RFW) came in second with 24:00, a very good time for a plain road bike and Hans van Nierop (WVCC) third at 24:12.
Two Juvenile riders, Edward Hopkins (MI Racing Academy) at 28:04 and Dom Switzer (WVCC) at 30:04 managed to beat some of the ‘oldies’ while Matthew Lonergan (RFW) in his last year as a Junior continues to improve.
