After a rather blowy and showery day, it was a good evening for our penultimate TT - a Dash of 2.8 miles (sounds easy?). There was still a fair SW wind but it should have helped the riders on their way.
As expected, Thomas Spain came in first with 6:17, followed by a very pleased Hudson Hendry with 6:21, who beat Phil Wilkinson into third place with 6:26.
 
Next week will be the last chance to have a go before the season closes (already!)

As there were so few TTs this season I have ignored the rule about needing to marshal for your points to count.  Points are taken from the best three rides out of the five.
The awards are therefore:

First: Thomas Spain 150 points
Second: Graeme Hall 148 points
Third: Phil Wilkinson  146 points

Vets Points Award
First: Graeme Hall 90 points
Second: Phil Wilkinson 89 points
Third: David Wilson 87 points

Road Bike Points Award
First: Phil Wilkinson 59 points
Second: Keith Houghton 54 points
Third: Tim Eaton 52 points

It was a pretty wet evening, so only 5 hard men rode in the last of our ‘post lockdown 10s’.
Phil Wilkinson kept up his usual form, finishing first in 24:38, while Keith Houghton came in second with 27:08 with youngster Hudson Hendry hot on his heels with 27:16.
Well done to everyone with the toughness to ride and a big thanks to all officials who made the event possible.
Our season finishes with a couple of 3.8 mile Dashes, so come and have a go.

 A fairly hot evening, a strong wind and a move to the hilly Devil’s Circuit reduced the field somewhat, but most riders seemed to enjoy it.
Thomas Spain put in his usual storming ride, finishing in 22:29, well ahead of second place rider Phil Wilkinson who posted 23:28,  followed by David Wilson with 25:33.
First time rider Sam Watkins finished in a very creditable 27:45 – oh to be aged 22 again!
 
Our usual thanks to everyone who helped to make the event possible. Hopefully we shall be back to the Valley Circuit for the last of this season’s ‘Tens’.

It was a warm but blowy evening, with a fairly strong S-SW wind for the third of our post-lockdown evening time trials.
Thomas Spain was back on top with 23:28, narrowly beating Graeme Hall who came in at 23:35. Nathan Joyce was first Road Bike in at 23:47.
Of our under sixteens, Hudson Hendry was fastest on a TT bike, with 26:26, followed by Mac Carter on a Road / Tri with 28:51. Newcomer Sam Lindsley in his first time trial managed 34:04 on his Road bike.
 
Well done to all and my usual thanks go to everyone who volunteered to make the event a success.
