We had good weather for the last of our evening ‘tens’ – sunny, with little wind.
Guest rider Thomas Spain (unattached) put in fastest time of the day with 24:59, followed by Steve Coombs (RFW) with 26:12 and Neill Howarth (RFW) in 27:52.
Graeme Hall (RFW) decided to ride a two-speed Brompton but still managed 28:37.
John Aldridge (RFW) unluckily punctured but still managed to ride in on a flat rear tubular.
