It was rather a muggy evening, with not much wind, for the first of our Summer Series ‘Tens’ and it brought out a respectable field of thirteen riders.
Much as expected, Paul Beattie (RFW) was fastest with 23:12, closely followed by Warren Drew (Rapha CC) and Julian Freeman (RFW) in 24:24 (also fastest road bike by quite a margin).
Neill Howarth - this week’s photo - (RFW) was the last rider to break under 30 minutes, finishing in 28:23.
