As often seems to be the case Wednesday’s weather was awful, a cold evening with a fresh north-easterly breeze making conditions rather difficult.
In spite of this we had seventeen customers for our time trial. However, Neill Howarth and Matthew Lonergan had mechanical issues that meant they were unable to start.
Austin Smith (RFW) put in the best time of the evening with 25:23, narrowly beating Julian Freeman (RFW) who finished in 25:34.
Arwel Hughes (RFW) was the last solo rider to beat the 30 minute mark, finishing in 29:14.
John Dainty and Michael Prescott elected to ride John’s tandem, putting in a creditable time for the conditions of 29:10.
