After last week’s deluge it was a relief to have a beautiful summer’s evening for this time trial. Sunny conditions, a pleasant temperature and almost no wind.
We had 20 riders (rather less than expected, given the weather), all of whom got round safely.
Fastest riders were Nathan Joyce (23:40), followed by Julian Freeman (25:29) and James Smart (25:40).
Louise Brown and Tom Wright rode a very creditable 2-up with a time of 27:45.
The usual thanks to all race officials and helpers, without whom the event could not run.
