The last of this year’s time trials on the Devil’s Circuit saw a very small turnout of only seven riders in spite of it being a warm and sunny evening with little wind.
Club TT stalwart Paul Beattie (RFW) seemed disappointed with 22:20 even though he was over two minutes faster than second placed rider David Wilson (riding RFW second claim). Peter Nix (RFW) came in almost another two minutes down with 26:23.
In spite of a late start Mike Deeley still managed 28:09 and special mention must go to twelve year-old Huw Wilson (WVCC) who just pipped the 30 minute mark with a time of 29:44.
My usual thanks go to all race officials and helpers.
Please note that next week’s TT has been cancelled due to a clash with some kind of football event. See you on 18thJuly for the usual Valley Circuit.
This week’s photo shows Peter Nix trying hard at the finish.
