The first of our evening 'Tens' attracted a field of twelve riders - not huge, but respectable. It was good to get back to a bit of 'normal', even if we couldn't have a natter with a cup of tea afterwards.
Two 'big engines' on road bikes grabbed the top spots - Nathan Joyce (RFW), with 24:02 and Phil Wilkinson (RFW), with 24:36. David McDade (RFW), on a TT bike, came in third with 25:44 while Arran Holman (unattached), on what I think was his first TT, posted an extremely respectable 25:59.
John Aldridge didn't finish due to a puncture caused by his back wheel locking up while braking to avoid an idiot driver in Ashley. That's £60 for a new rear tub.
