It was rather a hot evening and there was European Cup football on the telly. Consequently, after sorting out mix-ups we ended up with only four entries.
Thomas Spain, as usual, turned in a blistering ride with a final time of 46:35. Julian Freeman, on a road bike did well to come in second with 51:48, followed by Keith Houghton (again on a road bike) with 56:13 and Steve Wickham in 57:10.
My usual thanks go to everyone who helped to put the event on. There is just as much work involved in running a TT for 4 as there is for 40. I feel a case of 'use it or lose it' coming on.
