The last TT of the season saw a good turnout of 17 riders, in spite of breezy conditions and the threat of rain.
Warren Drew (Rapha CC) made fastest time of the day with 6:03, followed by David McDade (RFW) in 6:23 and Carl Roberts (WVCC) in 6:26, all on TT bikes.
Peter Nix (RFW) was fastest of the ‘pure’ road bikes with 7:00, while Rob Barker (KCC) on an ‘old school’ steel bike complete with toe clips made a very creditable 7:17.
It was good to see so many guest riders at this event – perhaps we could persuade them to return next season.
My thanks to everyone who has helped with events throughout the season – you know who you are. Well, that’s it apart from our seasonal Boxing Day ‘10’. See you all next year.
