A thunderstorm shortly before the start didn't deter the 11 riders for our evening 'ten'. Will Deeley (RFW) beat Hudson Hendry (RFW) this week by a margin of 22 seconds (23:16 / 23:38), but a storming ride by both youngsters. Phil Wilkinson (RFW) came in third with 24:41.
J. Turnbull (RFW) was fastest Road bike, with 27:51 and Steve Wickham was the last rider to break 'evens', posting 28:53.
Special mention must go to T. Parrish (A5 Rangers) who, at 76 still managed 33:02. How many of us would manage it at that age?

A warm and pleasant evening attracted 18 riders to the second of our 'Summer Series', including a few new faces and first timers.
Hudson Hendry (RFW) was showing good form and came in first with 23:46, closely followed by Josh Van Nierop (WVCC) with 23:48 and Phil Wilkinson (RFW) 23:58.
Fastest Road bike was Paul Dickens (RFW), with 25:34.
Well done to all riders, especially the first-timers and a big thanks to everyone who helped run the event.

A pleasant and sunny evening with a fresh N.E. breeze attracted ten riders to our final TT series of the year on the Valley Circuit.
Will Deeley (RFW) posted fastest time of 23:43, with Hudson Hendry (RFW) following in 24:26 and Phil Wilkinson (RFW) in 24:20; all on TT bikes.
Fastest road bike rider was Paul Dickens (RFW), with 24:02.
Well done to all and many thanks to everyone who helped to put the event on (primarily Steve Wickham, who did several jobs). Don't forget to sign up to help, or the event won't run.
