A fairly decent evening saw a very small entry of 6 riders to our Pre-Interclub 25, 3 of whom chose to ride 15 miles.
Jon Overman (Unattached) posted fastest time with 1:07:00, with Keith Houghton (RFW) coming in second with 1:12:07 on a road bike. Steve Wickham (RFW) came in a close third with 1:12:42.
Mac Carter (RFW), now on a TT bike was fastest of the '15s' with 41:36.

It was rather a hot evening and there was European Cup football on the telly. Consequently, after sorting out mix-ups we ended up with only four entries.
Thomas Spain, as usual, turned in a blistering ride with a final time of 46:35. Julian Freeman, on a road bike did well to come in second with 51:48, followed by Keith Houghton (again on a road bike) with 56:13 and Steve Wickham in 57:10.
My usual thanks go to everyone who helped to put the event on. There is just as much work involved in running a TT for 4 as there is for 40. I feel a case of 'use it or lose it' coming on.

It was a fine evening for the first of our 20 mile TTs in preparation for the Inter-Club 25 later this month.
Only ten riders signed on and three of those elected to ride a '10'.
Fastest of the '20s' was Thomas Spain (RFW) who posted 47:03 on a TT bike, with Nathan Joyce (RFW) on 47:40 - an excellent result on a road bike. Pete Bradshaw (F6B2) came in third with 51:00 on a road bike.

Although it was a lovely evening we only had nine entries for this evening's TT. Resurfacing works on the Drayton to Melbourne road meant that we had to shorten the course to 7.5 miles.
Thomas Spain (RFW) posted FTD with 17:25. Graham Doe (WVCC) was second with 18:31, followed by Phil Wilkinson (RFW) on a road bike with 18:48.
One of the advantages of the shortened course was that everyone (including me) finished in under 30 minutes - looks good, anyway!
