The date for the annual hill climb competition with our rivals at Kettering CC has been set. It will start at 10:00 on Sunday 10th September in the usual place, near the bottom of Nevill Holt hill in Drayton. No change to the format, a timed route up from Drayton, then after an insufficient recovery time, up the same hill from the Medbourne side.
We need as many members as possible to enter this event, as points are awarded to the top 20 finishers across both clubs. I remember a couple of years ago we lost the trophy simply because we didn't have enough entrants from RFW in the middle of the finishers, meaning that KCC picked up enough cheap points to win.
SO PLEASE PUT THIS DATE IN YOUR CALENDAR NOW AND SUPPORT THE CLUB.
