Here's one way to get to Wadenhoe without going through Oundle. It includes about 1 km of bridleway, so think about your bike and the ground conditions, but it makes a change.
The route is 69 km, with the King's Head at Wadenhoe coming up after 36 km, or Café Oak at Geddington after 56 km.

The challenge to us is to follow this boundary (as best as the roads/tracks allow). This gives a ride of about 150 Km/90 miles, including a bit of gravel along the Brampton Valley.
Here's a link to a Strava route for you to follow.
If you prefer you can break the route near Islip Furnaces and head back via Grafton Underwood.
